August 19, 2006.14:39 First Entry!
Finally I became a CGS member and also I'm celebrating my first fully employed job in my life. Before that I've been in voluntary game projects, fanfilms and other freelance material but this is my first fully professional job in my career. I joined Optima Production Company in İstanbul as a digital matte artist. And even from the first week I completed 7 matte painting for a commercial (for Turkcell Communication). I'll post them here when the commercial begins to be aired on TVs. I'm still doing freelance jobs but not very much like before. Because I have very little time now so I only accept paid offers.
But I'm still working hard.I know that there are still a lot way to be a well known artist. And I hope I'll be in one day.It just started
ok...now time to get back to work.I listen Hans Zimmer's Armageddon with Graeme Revell's Chronicles of Riddick soundtrack nowadays....along with Iron Maiden,Blind Guardian and Crematory. They really got me in to a painting mode. If you are a Iron Maiden fan I recommend to listen the newest songs from their new album on www.ironmaiden.com
