This is an artwork for my personal portfolio. I am always amazed by the great battle fought for capturing Istanbul. As a boy living in Istanbul it was very fun to do this painting.
The landscape was painted in Painter. Sky, the sultan, most of the buildings were painted in Photoshop. Some key buildings like Hagia Sophia and Galata Tower, I used photograph reference. I made the sea in Terragen. And all the stuff composited & color corrected in Photoshop.
Made in working 4-5 hours in 3 nights.
