Last year in these days we were counting days for Star Wars: Episode III. To comemorate that exciting days I wanted to create a Star Wars painting. I chose an era of the Old Republic.Thousands of years before Episode I.

This painting show a great army of Sith lords gathering for war.Originally They used to have steel swords enchanted by the dark side of the force but I did a lightsaber for more "starwars" look.That is my choice

When creating the landscapes I was inspired by Cappadocia region here in Turkey.It's a beautiful place with similar landscape and somehow it has a sci fi look.I'll attach some photos later.

I was also inspired by the great paintings by Sergey Skachkov. ( http://atris.cgsociety.org )

I first started to paint in Photoshop then added details in Painter. All color corrections,glows,fog and other effects etc. created in Photoshop. As a young art enthusiast like me(20) your comments and critics are important to me and welcome as always.I hope you like it
